About

Dana Foarta’s research examines the links between macroeconomics and political economy. It focuses on the coordination of government policies within banking unions, on the links between local and supranational regulation and on the effects of government interventions in financial markets. Her most recent work studies the welfare effects of policy coordination in banking unions, as well as the efficiency and welfare effects of centralizing banking regulation.
