Andrew is a senior from Southern California studying biology and economics. After a service trip to Ghana two years ago, he is excited to engage more critically with issues in health systems development through research and fieldwork. At Stanford, he has discovered a passion for health economics in the context of medicine and hopes to gain a more thorough understanding of resource management and utilization in developing countries. Furthermore, he looks forward to developing a deeper appreciation for how research in global development can be used to inform effective interventions. He will be a summer field research assistant for the project Emergency Medical Care and Crisis Support in Uttar Pradesh, India.
