About

A Los Angeles native, Sinclair Cook remained in California for his university studies, earning a BA in International Relations from Stanford in 2018. During his undergraduate career at Stanford, Sinclair interned and studied abroad in China, Japan, South Korea, and India and served as a vice president of the Forum for American-Chinese Exchange at Stanford (FACES). Sinclair’s research interests include economic development, particularly in East and South Asia, as well as East Asian international relations. Sinclair will be assisting Hongbin Li on a variety of projects related to economic development in China.
